ONBOARDING

Getting Started

Most teams are up and running within a day. We handle setup, import your machine list, and walk your crew through the app on site.

FaultPilot runs on any modern smartphone or tablet. iOS and Android. No special hardware needed — your crew’s existing devices work fine.

Yes. The app works fully offline and syncs automatically when connectivity returns. Designed for remote sites and underground operations with patchy or no coverage.

No. FaultPilot fits around how your crew already works. Fault logging, handovers, and diagnostics are built to be faster than the paper or WhatsApp processes they replace, not more complicated.

SECURITY

Data & Security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), hosted on secure cloud infrastructure in Australia. Each organisation’s data is logically isolated and is never accessible by other organisations on the platform.

Customer data is primarily stored in Australia (AWS ap-southeast-2, Sydney). Some AI processing involves transfer to the United States via OpenAI, but no data is retained by third-party AI providers after processing.

Your data is available for export for 90 days after cancellation. After that, it is permanently deleted from production systems within 30 days and from backups as they are overwritten. Full details are in our Data Retention Policy.

No. Uploaded documentation is processed solely within your organisation’s isolated environment. It is never shared across organisations and is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models.

Yes. Our DPA, Data Retention Policy, SLA, and Privacy Policy are all available on our Legal page. These documents form part of the Customer Agreement.

PLATFORM

Platform & Features

Trace is FaultPilot’s AI diagnostic engine. It generates step-by-step troubleshooting workflows grounded in your organisation’s own technical documentation — service manuals, fault code references, and maintenance procedures. Every recommendation cites its source.

Yes. Upload your maintenance manuals, fault code references, wiring diagrams, and procedures. Trace will generate diagnostic workflows specific to your machines and your procedures.

At shift change, the outgoing crew submits a structured handover through FaultPilot. The incoming crew receives a complete record of every open fault, what has been done, and what needs to happen next. No more verbal handovers or scribbled notes.

Enterprise tier includes cross-site knowledge networks. A fix discovered at one site becomes available to every site in your organisation, so crews don’t solve the same problem twice.

Enterprise tier includes API access and custom integrations with existing maintenance management systems. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

PRICING

Pricing & Plans

Pricing is per site, per month, based on crew size and machine count. No per seat fees — your whole crew gets access. Three tiers: Core (fault logging and handovers), Pro (adds AI diagnostics and fleet intelligence), and Enterprise (adds cross-site knowledge and custom integrations). Contact us for a quote.

We run paid pilot programs rather than free trials. A pilot gives your crew real onboarding, real support, and real results on a real site — not a sandboxed demo. Contact us to set one up.

Every plan includes full onboarding: we set up your account, import your machine list, configure your workflows, and walk your crew through the app on site. No extra charge.
